V International Image Festival - Call for participation

From the 18th to the 21st of April of 2006, in Manizales, Colombia will happen the V International Image Festival that will turn to a scenario of the contemporary audio-visual culture. Designers, visual artists and researchers in new media will share experiences in subjects related to the image, sonorous landscape, interactive technologies and digital exhibitions. The Festival is the space for the democratization of the image and technology and is the place for the critic analysis and the debate up front to the use of digital media in the Latin American context. The Festival is organized from the Visual Design Department of Caldas University, one of the three Latino American Universities in which they will be realizing the course of New Media organized by UNESCO DigiArts and MECAD Spain. This course will be presented during the V International Image Festival.
